  7. THIS IS VERSION 13.1 AS THE LAST ON AMINET, BUT WITH
  8. RMH.LIBRAY 5.2 (5.1 HAD A STUPID BUG).

  10. Hserv was born as an example of rxsocket.library archive, but it become
  11. so big and cute that I decide to release it as a stand alone application.
  12.  
  13. It is a HTTP 1.0 ARexx server, very configurable and funny.
  14.  
  15. The main features are:
  16. - run alone or as inetd service in multiple istance listening on different ports;
  17. - accepts GET, HEAD and POST methods;
  18. - basic file resuming;
  19. - Virtual hosts implemented;
  20. - "If-Modified-Since" supported, with many date formats;
  21. - "rfc 19452 Auth supports;
  22. - rejected-ips;
  23. - mime types read from file, so you can had your mime;
  24. - text parsing;
  25. - in line ARexx functions in html documents;
  26. - ARexx, REBOL, perl and exe cgi;
  27. - may be set to require ident service running at client host;
  28. - preferences and "QuickStart" GUI.
